Giannone (Dsch–), Pietro, geb. 1676, Neapolitaner, ital. Schriftsteller, der seine Pfeile besonders gegen den päpstl. Stuhl richtete und darum zu seiner Zeit gern gelesen wurde. Während er sich als Flüchtling in Genf aufhielt wurde er auf das savoyische Gebiet gelockt und st. 1748 als Gefangener auf der Citadelle von Turin.
