Zallwein, Adam, mit dem Klosternamen Gregor, geb. 1712 zu Oberwichtach im bayerischen Walde, wurde 1733 im Kloster Wessobrunn Benedictiner, Professor des canonischen Rechtes und geistlicher Rath in Salzburg, wo er 1766 st., neben Espen, Zech, Riegger, Neller u.a. Z. machte sich um die systematische Bearbeitung, Erläuterung u. Sammlung des kathol. Kirchenrechtes verdient.
