Zallinger zum Thurn, Jak. Anton, Theolog und Philosoph, gebürtig aus Botzen, wurde Jesuit, lehrte Philosophie zu Augsburg, München, Trient, Dillingen u. Innsbruck, an welch letzterem Orte ein Bruder von ihm, Franz Seraphin (geb. 1743, gest. 1804) sich als Professor der Physik einen Namen erworben hatte, st. 1813 in seiner Vaterstadt; seine Schriften, namentlich die über den Kantianismus, verdienten mehr Beachtung als sie gefunden haben.
