Jahrh.; schrieb mehrere Werke über die Befestigungskunst. – C. oder Catanno, Danese, trefflicher Bildhauer von Carrara, zugleich Baumeister und Dichter; seine besten Arbeiten sind in Venedig (Monument des Dogen Bordano) und Verona; st. 1573 zu Padua.
