Bury (Bürih), Henry Blaze, Baron de, Schriftsteller, geb. 1818 zu Avignon, wurde einer der thätigsten Mitarbeiter der »Revue des deux mondes«, in welche Zeitschrift er unter dem Namen Hans Werner oder Henry Blaze eine große Zahl Gedichte, kritische Abhandlungen und interessante Aufsätze über Deutschland und deutsche Literatur niederlegte. Auch schrieb er unter dem angegebenen Namen »Écrivains et poëtes dʼAllemagne« Paris 1846, eine Frucht längern Aufenthaltes in Deutschland. und übersetzte den Götheʼschen Faust, Paris 1844. Seither erschienen von ihm bloß noch »Sur Vérone et lʼItalie pendant les campagnes de Radetzky« und »Le comte de Chambord« 1850. – Seine Gemahlin, Mar. Paul. Rosa Stuart, aus einer schottischen Familie zu Oban in der Grafschaft Argyle, schrieb unter dem Namen Arth. Dudley zuerst in Zeitschriften, dann einen »Essai sur Lord Byron« und Romane, deren einige ins Deutsche übersetzt sind.
