Bucephalus, Bukephalos (Stierkopf), hieß das Lieblingspferd Alexanders d. Gr., das er. vorher ungebändigt, noch als Knabe zu bändigen wußte, und um dessen Grabmal in Indien er eine Stadt, Bukephalia, anlegen ließ.
