Phigalea

Phigalea, – ia, arkad. Stadt an der Gränze von Messenien u. Elis; ist bekannt durch die Ruinen eines Apollotempels auf ihrem Gebiete, wo 1812 schöne Basreliefs ausgegraben und von der engl. Regierung für das britische Museum angekauft wurden.
