Gohier (Gohieh), Louis Jérome, geb. 1746, frz. Advokat u. Staatsmann, beim Ausbruch der Revolution eifriger Anhänger derselben, wurde aber als unentschieden nicht in den Convent gewählt, begleitete dagegen im Justizdepartement hohe Stellen und war 1799 einer der letzten Direktoren. Nach dem 18. Brumaire zog er sich zurück und st. 1830. Seine »Mémoires«, Paris 1824, sind nicht ohne Bedeutung für die letzte Phase der ersten franz. Republik.
